The Boston Celtics did a highly commendable job of staying in the game throughout Stephen Curry's epic first quarter for the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Boston's steadfastness was rewarded with a shocking 120-108 victory that saw them steal home-court advantage from the heavily-favored Dubs after just the first game of the series.

After the loss, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted that the Dubs will be a bit desperate heading into Game 2 on Sunday:

“It's different for sure. When you win Game 1 at home, there is a sense of comfort,” Kerr said, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. “… it's a different feeling. Obviously you go into Game 2 with more of a sense of desperation… we have won series where we lost first game.”

A loss for the Warriors on Sunday will see them go down 0-2 in the series as it shifts to Boston for Games 3 and 4. That would be an unfavorable situation for the Dubs, to say the least.

As coach Kerr said, however, his team has been through this type of adversity in the past. At this point, it would be completely foolish to count out the Warriors.
