It almost looked like Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wanted to get ejected.

That's how heated Kerr got during the first half of the Warriors' game vs. the San Antonio Spurs Thursday of this week. He dropped multiple F-bombs directed at the refs, ultimately resulting in his technical foul, but no immediate ejection.

It was a low moment for Kerr, he later admitted, while also apologizing.

“I need to do better, honestly,” Kerr said. “That was embarrassing. My daughter sent me the meme, it was all over the Internet. I just hung my head in shame. I am very passionate and intense but I can't use that kind of wording. I would never say that to anybody in a normal setting. It's just awful and I saw that and thought, ‘My God, what's a matter with me?'

“I'm always going to get on refs to stand up for my guys and that's the point but I can't use that kind of language.”

Kerr was very candid in his response and apology and showed a positive side of himself, admitting that he wants to grow from the incident and find a way to stand up for his players without losing it as much.

He didn't need to get heated during tonight's game against the Nuggets, which the Warriors easily cruised to a victory in.
