The Golden State Warriors dropped a game against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. They lost 116-108 but had a clear chance to win.

The night wasn't a complete disaster as the Warriors did come away with a huge victory with Klay Thompson. He had another productive outing and Steve Kerr spoke about it in his postgame press conference.

“I thought Klay was really good. He was plus 17 in his 19 and a half minutes. He looks quick. He looks agile. He looks strong. It’s really exciting to see how he’s playing this early after that long of a period being off. I look forward to being able to play him more minutes,” Kerr told ClutchPoints.

In Thompson's first two appearances he's played well. He hasn't played up to his standards, but he has done a lot of good things. The more time on the floor and practice he gets the faster he will be closer to his old self.

Thompson scored in double digits in each of his two games this season. He is averaging 15.5 points in 20 minutes per game while shooting 38 percent from the field and from deep.

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson still haven't played together this season. But it will happen soon. Green is out with a calf injury that he should return from quickly.

Once they're all on the floor together the magic will start to happen. Then it will be one more piece missing, and that's their seven-footer, James Wiseman.
