The Golden State Warriors may have won Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks, but they have a few problems to worry about. During the first half, swingman Otto Porter Jr. came up limping on the court. The forward would eventually head to the locker room and proceed to miss the rest of the game.

After the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr provided an update on Otto Porter Jr.'s injury. Kerr said that while the injury is “definitely concerning”, initial X-rays came up negative. Porter Jr was also able to test his injured foot. Ultimately, as with most injuries, there will be more clarity after more tests are done. (via Anthony Slater)

Porter Jr. was one of the Warriors' under-the-radar acquisitions in the off-season. The former Washington Wizards forward was coming off a relatively silent 2021. As the season progressed, Porter Jr. started to become a lot more comfortable with the team offense. He quickly became one of the big bench pieces for the Dubs.

Porter especially shone brightly in their series against the Mavs. The Warriors forward came off the bench and helped hold down the fort without their stars. Losing him isn't exactly devastating for the Dubs, but his presence on the court will be missed regardless.

Still, the Warriors have plenty of players who can fill in well for Porter. Juan Toscano-Anderson saw some run in Game 3. Nemanja Bjelica and Jonathan Kuminga, who all haven't seen much playing time, could also get some burn in Game 4. That's the beauty of this Warriors team; everyone is ready and willing to step up when needed.
