Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Stephen Curry hasn't been at his best in the first round against the Los Angeles Clippers. Curry didn't do much in the second half of Game 2 as the Clippers pulled off a historic comeback, and he was rather quiet in the last two games of the series. Curry's substandard play is just one reason why LA has pulled off two wins in the series, and things will get even more interesting if a Game 7 is forced.

However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expects his sharpshooter to snap the slump and hopefully put the Clippers away for good in Game 6:

Statistically, it's a good bet made by Kerr. Curry is too good of a player to have yet another quiet game. The two-time MVP put up over 27 points per game on over 19 shots per game in the regular season, but those numbers are down in this series and due for a course correction.

Even if Curry doesn't have a good night, the Warriors have a good shot to close up the series. The Clippers have already given them more than they bargained for, but the Warriors' star power will be tough to overcome in two straight games.

Regardless of the outcome, it will be interesting to see if Steve Kerr's prediction is correct and Stephen Curry shoots the lights out at Staples Center in Game 6.
