It's safe to say that Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is not satisfied with his team's recent performances. Kerr gets brutally honest as he emphasizes Golden State's iffy play at the center position.

Mark Medina of The Mercury News wrote about the Warriors' frontcourt's inconsistency, including Kerr's plan on how he would deal with his big men.

After Jones started the team’s first 16 games, though, Kerr has since changed course partly because of Jones’ inconsistency.

“You have to go out there and produce,” Kerr said. “There are great players everywhere. If you’re not producing, we’ll give the next guy a chance.”

With their prized acquisition DeMarcus Cousins still recovering from the Achilles injury he sustained last season, the Warriors have been experimenting on the center position. While Damian Jones has started all but two games, he has been largely inefficient on the court.

Here's what Jones has to say about his recent lethargic games.

“I just got to put myself in a better position,” said Jones, who has averaged 5.4 points on 73.7 percent shooting along with 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 fouls per game. “I need to have that mentality to go out and get it.”

Could the Warriors be missing the services of former center JaVale McGee? Now playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, McGee has surprised everybody with a drastic increase in his production.

Still, Stephen Curry's absence remains the primary reason why the Warriors are in a state of flux this season. Until Cousins finds his name in the active lineup, the Warriors' frontcourt will be an issue for them going forward.
