During his media session with reporters on Tuesday, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr talked about playing games this season with zero fans in attendance.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, every team except the Utah Jazz won't have fans at games in 2020-21. The Jazz will have a limited number of fans at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The Warriors, who have some of the most passionate fans in the NBA, are going to miss the energy Dub Nation brings them at the Chase Center, per Kerr.

“It's really going to be weird. We never felt what the bubble teams felt so it will be a new experience … it will be very strange,” the Warriors head coach said, via Nick Friedell of ESPN.

“Not anything we want to get used to. We thrive so much on the energy of our crowd. I'm not looking forward to it actually.”

The Warriors had the worst record in the NBA last season before games were suspended in March, so they weren't invited to Walt Disney World for the bubble games. It's going to be a different experience for Golden State's players to play in empty arenas and will likely take the entire team a few games to get used to it.

“But this is the reality of life in 2020. So we'll get out there, compete. We'll be ready to roll. And we can't wait to get our fans back whenever that is,” Steve Kerr added.

Golden State will play their first preseason game on Dec. 12. They will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors then open the 2020-21 season against Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets on the road.
