When the juggernauts that are the Golden State Warriors do not have star guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson active for a game, head coach Steve Kerr admits that he hardly will even break a sweat.

According to a tweet prior to tonight's game against the L.A. Clippers at Oracle Arena, coach Kerr told Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle that he has no reason to fret with both Curry (ankle) and Thompson (rest) inactive against the Clippers.

“We're missing the best backcourt in the league tonight, and we still have two All-Stars,” Kerr said. “It's an embarrassment of riches. It is. I'm not going to shy away from that.”

Golden State, who have had their fair share of injuries this season, will still have the services of star forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green in tonight's game.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers also chimed in on Curry's ankle injury reaggravation, saying that it's only a minor setback at this point.

“Unfortunately with Steph Curry if it’s anything to do with his ankle, there’s a lot of discussion around it,” Myers said. “Which is fair, but I can’t say that it’s something we’re really concerned about.”

Kerr, who has coached the Warriors to an NBA-best 33-8 record, wasn't worried and trusted his training staff with getting Curry back on the court as soon as possible.

“I don't think it's serious. There's not even an MRI or an X-Ray scheduled,” Kerr said of Curry's injury setback. “It's just that he tweaked it and Chelsea (Lane) looked at it and it was sore, so we're not going to take any chances.”

The Warriors will try to capture their sixth straight win tonight against the Clippers, a team they have dominated the past few seasons.
