Stephen Curry is the straw that stirs the drink for the Golden State Warriors and his head coach, Steve Kerr had some good news for fans regarding Curry's health. Kerr told reporters that Curry had made a jump health wise and he sounded encouraged by his progress according to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Curry is working his way back from a left groin strain that has held him out of the last four games for the Warriors. While Steph has been sidelined, the team has had to deal with melodrama on the court and in the locker room between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. The rift between the two All-Stars was so bad that Golden State suspended Draymond for a game for his role in the altercation.

In other words, the Warriors could use Steph's presence in the lineup to settle the team down. Durant may be the best player on the team, but Curry is the guy who everything revolves around. He is the engine that makes the team go and they aren't the same without him.

That being said, the Warriors are good enough where they don't have to stress every single regular season game. They know that their real season begins in the playoffs and as long as they are 100 percent healthy heading into the playoffs, they'll be confident in their chances of raising another Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Steph is making positive steps forward following his groin injury and Kerr would love to have him back in the starting lineup, but everyone knows the regular season is just prologue for the Warriors.
