Details have just emerged regarding the head injury sustained by Golden State Warriors guard Juan Toscano-Anderson during Saturday's clash against the Boston Celtics. The 28-year-old came crashing on the scorer's table as he dove to save for a loose ball and as it turns out, he suffered quite a significant injury.
According to multiple reports, Toscano-Anderson has received no less than 35 stitches for the cut that he sustained from the fall:

That's a lot of stitches. As indicated in the report above, Toscano-Anderson is still in the league's concussion protocol. He missed Monday's win against the Philadelphia 76ers, and it remains to be seen when he will be able to return to action for the Warriors.
Concussions can get quite tricky. It usually all depends on each player's ability to recover from the head injury so at this point, it would be difficult to predict when the Warriors shooting guard will be cleared for action.
This comes at an inopportune time for Toscano-Anderson, who himself just had his best game of the season on April 15. He played a huge role for Golden State as they took down the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting), seven rebounds, three assists, a steal, a block, and three three-pointers in 31 minutes of action.
Toscano-Anderson is by no means a star, but he has played a key role in coach Steve Kerr's rotation, especially amid the injury crisis the Warriors have been dealing with of late.
