Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is entering the volatile world of cryptocurrency, and as usual to someone who is new to the game, he went to a familiar place to ask for advice: Twitter.

Lucky for him, Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar Tom Brady saw his question and was more than willing to share some funny advice, which he learned just months after being into the market.

Stephen Curry better listen to Tom Brady, though. The laser eyes are no good–well, at least according to data.

For those who doesn't know what the Buccaneers QB is referencing in his response, it should be noted that Bitcoin investors and supporters used to change their profile pictures on social media to one with “laser eyes.” According to CNBC, it is to show that they are as focused as a laser to rally the prices of the biggest cryptocurrency in the world.

At the time when Brady did the “laser eyes,” Bitcoin price was at $56,245. However, it saw a 40 percent decline after that and even went below $30,000. As the time of writing, the crypto has since recovered and is now trading at $52,887.23.

Curry has certainly fallen in love with the current cryptocurrency and NFT trends. To recall, the Warriors star recently purchased a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for 55 ETH, which was around $180,000 at the time.

Nonetheless, it's a good thing Brady is there to warn the Warriors sharpshooter how volatile the market can be. All jokes aside, Brady's experience is an example that investing on cryptocurrency should be done with caution and the right calculation since it can go down as fast as it increases.
