The Golden State Warriors possess the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and trading down could be a viable option. If the Warriors do choose to move back in the draft, then they could consider taking Devin Vassell, per San Francisco Chronicle's Connor Letourneau.

According to multiple league sources that spoke to Letourneau, the Warriors are fans of Vassell's game. However, Golden State likely wouldn't take Vassell at the No. 2 spot and would only select him if they were able to move down.

Vassell, a two-year shooting guard at Florida State, perfectly encapsulates what the Warriors like their players to do. He's an efficient three-point shooter, making nearly 42 percent of his outside shots in his two seasons with the Seminoles.

Along with his shooting abilities, Vassell is more than capable on the defensive end as well. In his sophomore season at Florida State, Vassell logged 1.4 steals a game and proved he can guard multiple positions.

Given his ability to shoot, Vassell was likened to Klay Thompson by the head coach at Florida State. And it's Vassell's defensive prowess that has the Warriors interested in his services if they decide to make a selection in this year's draft.

With Stephen Curry and Thompson returning to a lineup that already features Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors could choose to offer the No. 2 overall selection for a proven star in the league. But in the event that they aren't able to manufacture a trade for a star, they could trade down and add Vassell to their hopeful contending roster.
