After the Golden State Warriors lost their second game in a row against the Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Durant told ESPN that is weird to be on the court without Stephen Curry.

“It's weird not having Steph out there,” Durant said after a 109-103 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. “And Andre [Iguodala] and D-West, Jordan [Bell], so we're missing a lot, and we're just kind of playing on the fly each possession.”

On First Take on Monday Stephen A. Smith went off talking about how he didn't want to hear about Durant missing Curry.

“Kevin Durant, I don't want to hear how much you miss Steph Curry..get over it! You are a superstar. This guy is a career 27 point per game scorer, Durant could average 30 in his sleep…Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City…because he didn't want to be an Alpha dog. We know what Curry can do without you on the court because he did. What are you going to do?”

He goes on to talk about how Curry survived with Durant off the court so why is Durant so afraid to play without him. It's also a great opportunity for Durant to remind people why many believe he is the best player in the NBA, and he should be able to prove that without Curry in the lineup.

For Curry there really isn't a timetable for him to return from his sprained ankle, so it might be a while again before Durant can actually feel comfortable on the court again.
