Washington Week 14 Predictions

4. Washington defense shuts down the Cowboys run game

With Tony Pollard looking like a healthy scratch and Ezekiel Elliott dealing with injuries of his own, now is the time for Washington to expose the Cowboys run game. Dallas is known more for their passing attack, but preventing them from successfully running the ball will sway the momentum towards the Football Team.

This strategy could prove to be successful. Removing the rushing attack completely prevents Dallas from controlling the clock. Look for Washington to emphasize stopping the run in this matchup.

3. Terry McLaurin bounces back for a stellar performance

He's been a tad quiet in Washington's last two games but could be in line for a big performance on Sunday. Terry McLaurin has proven to be one of the best young receivers in the league. He'll be going up against Trevon Diggs, so this should be a fantastic matchup to watch. Either way, McLaurin's teammates are hopeful he'll come through and deliver.

2. Antonio Gibson goes off for 100+ yards and 2 touchdowns

Antonio Gibson has looked solid recently and that trend should continue. He's shown incredible growth this season and looks to be Washington's franchise running back. He'll have his hands full against the Cowboys' defense, but Gibson is more than capable of performing well on Sunday.

1. Taylor Heinicke balls out and leads Washington to victory

The Cowboys are favored to win this game and for good reason. However, the Washington Football Team has been on fire recently and hopes to upset their long-time rival. To do so, Taylor Heinicke needs to be on point. Anytime he drops back to pass, Heinicke needs to be making the right decisions.

Dallas has a tremendous defense, making this a difficult task for Taylor Heinicke and the rest of the Washington offense. Even so, this team has the confidence and firepower to keep up with the Cowboys on Sunday. Look for Taylor Heinicke to have a big game, as he will do everything in his power to upset Dallas.
