After an unbelievable finish to a Thursday Night Football classic, the Washington Football Team decided to go all the way into troll mode following their 30-29 win over the New York Giants. At least their social team did.

They didn't have to do the Giants like that! Welcome to an NFC East rivalry.

Dustin Hopkins got not one, but two chances to knock home a game-winning field goal for the Washington Football Team and converted on the second attempt with no time remaining.

Dexter Lawrence jumped offsides on Hopkins' first attempt, which he missed. Giants fans thought they had won but the Washington Football Team quickly pointed out the laundry on the field. On the second attempt, Hopkins was able to pepper in a 43-yard game-winner.

It was an incredible game for a matchup that didn't have much hype surrounding it entering Week 2. Not many were thrilled about the idea of watching a Daniel Jones – Taylor Heinicke matchup but both turned in dazzling performances.

How the Giants bounce back from a heartbreaking loss like this will be interesting to monitor as they now head into Week 3. For the Washington Football Team, it's all good vibes at the moment as they get set for a daunting schedule over the next few weeks that features games against the Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.

Thursday night's contest was a masterpiece and certainly wasn't for the faint of heart.
