Luis Robert Jr. has been involved in trade rumors recently with the Chicago White Sox are in last place in the National League Central. Nothing is set in stone yet. But amid the ongoing rumors, the star outfielder shared a cryptic message on social media.

Robert shared a post that was only six words long. It's not entirely clear what he means. So, it's left up for interpretation. But at the very least, it's safe to say the White Sox star is feeling optimistic about his future.

“Be patient. Better things are coming.”

The Luis Robert Jr. rumors all started when Jon Heyman of the NY Post shared what he was hearing in the rumor mill. The MLB insider explained what he's heard during a segment with Bleacher Report Walk-Off.

Robert is an excellent outfielder that many teams across the league would love to have on their roster. This season for the White Sox, the star outfielder has recorded a .200 batting average, three home runs, and five RBIs. It's been a bit of a down year so far for Luis Robert Jr. But he should garner plenty of interest on the trade market if Chicago does decide to trade him.

At 26 years old, there is still plenty of time remaining in Robert's career. If he's traded he should be viewed as a possible long-term option. As for the White Sox, it makes sense why they'd trade Luis Robert Jr., as the roster isn't all that great. Moving him for several top prospects would be a smart move for a franchise hungry for depth.

If the trade rumors are true then the White Sox should have plenty of options on the table. However, it's not clear which teams are actually showing interest in the star outfielder.

Teams who are in the mix for the playoffs ahead of the trade deadline should be showing plenty of interest in Luis Robert Jr. Especially those who could be seeking a Wild Card position or fighting for a top seed in their division. That list would include the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, and Atlanta Braves.

Of course, it's not clear whether or not any of those teams are actually in trade talks with the White Sox. However, they each have the assets necessary to conduct a deal to potentially land Luis Robert Jr.

The MLB trade deadline is on July 30. So, there is plenty of time for the White Sox to gauge their options. Look for the rumor mill to heat up as the deadline approaches.
