Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma has taken exception to potential trade rumors. He shared his thoughts after his big game against the Detroit Pistons on Monday.

“Damn bro why you wanna trade me?” Kyle Kuzma tweeted after the game.

Kuzma made a statement against the Pistons on Monday. He had a near-triple-double with 32 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in Washington's `16-107 rout of Detroit. It was a showdown between the NBA's worst teams. The Wizards and Pistons have a combined 5-29 win-loss record through November 27.

The Wizards finally ended their nine-game skid behind Kyle Kuzma's heroics. It was their first victory in three weeks.

Kuzma, a Flint, MI native, played well with friends and family watching at the Pistons' Little Caesars Arena.

“My childhood dream was about playing on this court. It's always good to get a chance to play at home in front of my friends and family,” Kuzma said after the game.

Kyle Kuzma has been the Wizards' leading scorer this season

Kyle Kuzma has been one of the few bright spots in Washington's dismal season. His 22.9 points per game lead the team. He has also been contributing an average of 5.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists this season.

Should the Wizards trade Kyle Kuzma? With the way things are going, they're better off trading shooting guard Jordan Poole.

Although Poole has been averaging 17.7 points this season, he has made headlines for the wrong reasons.

For one, Minnesota Timberwolves legend Kevin Garnett called out Poole for his recent antics on November 23. Poole's boorish attitude and an incident where he didn't pay attention during a timeout wore thin on “The Big Ticket.”

“A champ? You ain't acting like it. You flexing champ s–t but you ain't bringing a championship environment in here. N—-s like this don't belong in our league, bro,” Kevin Garnett said last week.

As for Kyle Kuzma, no, thank you, he wants to stay put in the nation's capital despite the Wizards' struggles.
