As you may or may not have read earlier this afternoon, Brock Lesnar has reportedly walked out of SmackDown after a meeting informed the talent that Vince McMahon had officially retired from the WWE amid an ever-expanding series of scandals.

This, obviously, isn't good, but hey, Lesnar probably just wants to let off some steam and recompose himself, right? No need to worry about his match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, right?

*phew* you might want to sit down, as Bryan Alvarez further clarified his reporting in a not-so-advantageous way, at least from the perspective of the WWE.

“If he's gone, I'm gone,” huh? Funny, isn't Lesnar the same guy who shook down McMahon for $3 million before he agreed to return in 2020? Goodness, the duo must have become fast friends over the past two years.

Now, understandably, this is a massive emergency for the WWE. Not only are they down their long-time CEO, but they now may be down their main event for their second-biggest show of the year. Well, fortunately for the WWE Universe – if you can call it that – the Fed reportedly has a backup lined up if Lesnar can't be convinced to return for a match quite literally being billed as his ‘Final Battle' with Reigns.

Oh no, it's going to be Goldberg, isn't it?

Is this the end of the story? Is Brock Lesnar's run in the WWE done done, or will a new, even bigger deal be enough to bring him back for one final go? Keep your eyes on ClutchPoints and Bryan Alvarez for more info.
