July 31st will be an absolute throwback as Ric Flair is expected to return to the ring for one last time in the “Last Match” after previously dealing with some health concerns. His courageousness has resulted in another WWE legend, Booker T, praising Flair for still having the love and desire to compete.

Via TMZ Sports:

“What Ric Flair is doing, he's doing that because he loves this business, man. Ric Flair told me a long time ago that he would never retire. That's that guy, man.”

Booker T himself was asked about the possibility of coming out of retirement and competing again, but he revealed that's simply not going to happen:

“I have no itch to scratch,” Booker T said when asked about possibly coming out of retirement. “I've scratched every itch that I want to scratch as for as getting back inside the squared circle.”

At this point, it's unknown who Flair will wrestle, but it's sure to be a legendary night. Booker T also reflected on the very first time he ever met “Nature Boy” making it clear that he's learned so much from him over the years:

“Half of the time, I didn't know if I was coming or going just because he was telling me one thing, and he was doing another,” Booker said.

While Booker T isn't competing anymore, the ex-heavyweight champ is still very involved in the WWE. He's a commentator for the company and has recently been named a host of a new series called “WWE rivals”. The series will go in-depth on the most decorated rivalries in the history of the sport and will air on July 10th.
