John Cena recently made his triumphant WWE return, but now he's saying goodbye again for the time being after losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam over the weekend.
The good news is Cena doesn't appear to be saying goodbye to WWE for good:
Words cannot describe how appreciative I am that the @WWEUniverse allowed me the opportunity to return and perform. Thank you staff, superstars, and most of all FANS for giving me an unforgettable summer at “home” with my “family”. The journey takes me away now but I’ll C U soon.

John Cena and Roman Reigns went at it in an epic duel at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday. However, Cena fell short against the Universal Champ, who was then confronted by Brock Lesnar afterward:
John Cena is a 16-time world champion. He recently went on a WWE hiatus that lasted 15 months before making an appearance at Money in the Bank to hype up his return to the ring. Cena even challenged Roman Reigns at that event, setting up the SummerSlam showdown.
Unfortunately for Cena, he wasn't able to come away victorious, and now he'll take another WWE break. The 44-year-old is a big-time movie star now, so he'll be focusing on that once again.
However, given his tweet, it sure seems as if John Cena will be back again at some point. Who knows when exactly that will be, but hopefully he'll be back sooner rather than later so he can get another chance at a victory.
Meanwhile, we also don't know when we'll actually get a Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar bout, but that has to be coming relatively soon.
