The pro-wrestling industry could be in for a shockwave as WWE icon Hulk Hogan's son Nick drops his in-ring ambitions.

Earlier this year, the world went into mourning as the Hall of Famer passed away due to a cardiac arrest at 71 years old. The “Hulkster” left behind an impressive pro-wrestling legacy, which his son Nick Hogan now possibly wants to continue, according to an interview with TMZ at the Los Angeles airport.

“You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know,” he said. “It never hurts to drop the leg here and there.”

Nick Hogan, whose real name is Nicholas Allan Bollea, was recently pictured training with pro-wrestler Bryan Idol, raising suspicions about his jump into the pro-wrestling world.

The 35-year-old also mentioned his love for the business and how being around that environment makes him feel closer to his late father. Furthermore, Hogan's son discussed a potential Hollywood tribute to his father and the possibility of portraying the veteran wrestler in the film.

On July 24, 2025, news emerged about Hulk Hogan's untimely death. The Hall of Famer passed away at his Clearwater, Florida, home due to an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). This was further traced back to complications from the surgery he underwent on May 14 to help repair spinal issues.

During the procedure, Hogan's phrenic nerve, which is essential for diaphragmatic function in respiration, was severed, causing severe respiratory complications. Subsequent reports indicated that Hogan was also contending with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and atrial fibrillation at the time of his death.

Hogan was one of the most recognizable figures in WWE's history and was known for his persona and headline matches. He headlined the very first WrestleMania in 1985. Hulk also went on to battle legends, including Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, The Rock, and even more.
