With the November 2 trade deadline coming up, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to look to become even better.

The Buccaneers are 6-1 and on a four-game winning streak heading into Week 8. They are clearly a Top 3 team in football, and probably the best. Despite their injuries, which they've had plenty of, they've still been able to show how good they are.

Tampa Bay has been injured all year in their defense, particularly in the secondary. With that said, there are a couple of big-name safeties and cornerbacks they can go after. Adding these pieces might be the icing on top of the cake to get Tom Brady his eighth Super Bowl ring.

Let's take a look at two defensive backs the Buccaneers could target during the deadline.

2. Buccaneers trade for Xavien Howard

Xavien Howard has wanted out and his attitude and play this year with the Miami Dolphins has made that clear. When he's engaged, he's arguably the best defensive back in football. He's a ballhawk who is an excellent 1-on-1 defender. At this point, Miami might be looking to rebuild and Howard is their top asset. Howard can get them back a nice haul, so they might look to get rid of him at the deadline.

Tampa Bay can use Howard and it would make sense that he gets moved to a contender. The 28-year-old is one that would make another Super Bowl title even easier for the Bucs. They already have a strong defensive line and if they make that secondary better, they'd have the best defense in football.

Howard is one of the league's best and if Brady and the Bucs add him, they will be near impossible to beat. He has wanted out since the summer and if he has any say on where he can go, he should target a team like the Buccaneers.

1. Buccaneers trade for Marcus Maye

Marcus Maye has experience playing under Todd Bowles and would make for a significant upgrade for the Buccaneers' Super Bowl run. The Jets are going to be sellers at the break as they have many areas they need to address. Getting rid of Maye would make sense when you can get draft picks back and are in a rebuild situation.

The Buccaneers would have to be interested to make this trade happen due to the salary cap, but if they feel that Maye can help them out on the secondary, they will do it without a question.

Maye isn't part of the Jets' long-term future, he doesn't want to be there either. Look for the Jets to trade Maye and almost every other asset they have at the deadline. They are in a pure rebuild and are going to need all the picks and money they can get.

Brady and the Buccaneers don't need much help. They can win a Super Bowl with the team they have. They might look to get some help on the secondary as they have battled injuries there all season long. The best can always get better and Tampa Bay might look to do exactly that.

They will look to win their fifth game in a row as they travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints.
