The Baltimore Ravens were able to sneak out an ugly win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 12, 16-10.

This wasn't an impressive win for the Ravens at all but it is one that helps them as they get another game on the Browns and move to 8-3 on the season. Despite it being an ugly win, a win is a win in the NFL, and the Ravens were able to do exactly that. Let's take a look at three takeaways from the Ravens Week 12 win.

Ravens Week 12 Takeaways

3. A win is a win

Although it wasn't pretty, a win is a win, especially in the NFL. It doesn't matter how it looked as long as you walk away with a victory. Especially when the division is such a tight race, Baltimore will take anything that they can get.

The defense has also stepped up recently which was a concern for the Ravens. They have only allowed 10 and 13 points in the last two weeks of action. The Browns don't exactly have the greatest offense ever, but they are definitely an above-average offensive team, and holding them to only 10 points is something that the defense should be proud of and will help them as they move on later in the season.

If the defense can continue playing the way that it has the past few weeks, the Ravens are going to have a great shot of winning a Super Bowl. The offense is not going to be nearly as bad as it has been in the past three weeks.

2. Lamar needs to and will be, better

There are clearly things that the Ravens need to work on and that all starts with Lamar Jackson. Their offense has not put up more than 16 points in the past three weeks.

If you're a Ravens fan, there is nothing to worry about because Lamar takes full accountability for anything that happens to the Ravens team. He's going to be better in the future. If there's one guy around the league who puts in the work, it's Lamar Jackson. He has proved time and time again that he will do everything that he can do to help this team win. Expect him to do that in the future.

What he did last night was inexcusable for him as he went 20-32 for only 165 yards and had a shocking four interceptions. Lamar is never going to be as bad as he was on Sunday and the Ravens were still able to come away with a win. Instead of looking at it as a negative, look at it as a positive because their defense stepped up.

1. The division is right there to win

The Ravens are currently in first place of the division but it's definitely not going to be an easy task to walk away with it. They still have to take on the Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals who are in second place of the division, and the Los Angeles Rams.

If the Ravens want to win the division, they need to start playing better than they have the past three weeks. The schedule is only going to get tougher from here on out. Lamar Jackson and this Ravens team need to focus up and play the football that everybody knows that they can.
