The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will make the trip down to South Beach for a chance to raise Lombardi's trophy. This has the chance to be one of the best Super Bowl's in history with  Patrick Mahomes and an elite Chiefs offense going against one of the best defenses in the league.

On paper, it's going to be a tough test, but the Chiefs are still going to be the team that comes out on top, let's breakdown four reasons why.

4. Andy Reid

Andy Reid doesn't have a Super Bowl victory but he has plenty of playoff experience. He has been the head coach during 28 postseason games. Kyle Shanahan has had a lot of success too, but the last time he was coaching in the Super Bowl, he was the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons who blew a 28-3 lead.

He is also a great offensive mind that has put the Chiefs in a great situation. If the offense gets out to a slow start, he can push the right buttons to make sure they get out of the funk.

3. Never out of the game

The Chiefs have proven with their offense that they are never out of the game. Against the Houston Texans, the Chiefs fell behind 24-0 nothing before coming back and winning in blowout fashion.

Against the Tennessee Titans, the Chiefs were down 10-0 before quickly coming back and winning 35-24. In this game against the 49ers they want to get out to a better start and not fall behind, but if they do, they are never out of it.

It might be a bit harder to come back against the 49ers defense, but they are the same defense that let Aaron Rodgers and the Gren Bay Packers almost claw back into the game.

2. The Tyrann Mathieu led defense

Last season the Chiefs' defense was a big issue, and although it's not elite this year, it is much improved. Strong safety Tyrann Mathieu still doesn't get enough attention for how good of a player he is. All season he has been flying all over the field and causing big issues for opposing offenses.

Jimmy Garoppolo also hasn't proven he can win games during the playoffs with his passing ability leading the way. They have become one dimensional with the run game, and the defense did enough against Derrick Henry to have success.

1. Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs

The biggest reason the Chiefs can win is pretty simple, they have one of the most dynamic players in the NFL. Against the Titans, Mahomes completed 23 of 35 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns. He also did a good job of using his feet when he needs to which allowed him to finish the game with 53 yards on the ground.

When the Titans put a spy on him, he attacked down the field, and when there was no spy, he used his feet. The 49ers can try to slow down Mahomes, but they aren't going to stop him.

Even against a good defense, the Chiefs are going to have two weeks to prepare and put together the perfect game-plan.
