The San Francisco 49ers suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night, 34-17. There were undeniably a few questionable calls throughout the contest that went in the favor of the Packers, and for their part, Niners studs Deebo Samuel and Raheem Mostert were relentless with their criticism on how this contest was officiated.

The two injured stars decided to live feed their video call during the game, as they took turns taking jabs at the game officials (h/t Brian Witt of NBC Sports):

That's quite hilarious if you're on the outside looking in, but the same cannot be said for 49ers fans.

Aside from Samuel and Mostert — the team's top wide receiver and running back, respectively — San Francisco was missing a few other guys as they faced off against the Packers on Thursday. Clearly, their injury problems got the better of them in their Week 9 matchup, and the fact that the game was not properly officiated — at least from the perspective of Samuel and Mostert — only further adds to their woes.

This loss represents San Francisco's fifth defeat in nine games, taking their tally to 4-5 on the season. They've now suffered back-to-back losses, following their Week 8 defeat at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks.

Samuel is currently dealing with a hamstring issue, and was recently also placed on the COVID-19 list following his close contact with Kenrick Bourne. On the other hand, Mostert was previously placed on the injury reserve due to an ankle problem. Hopefully for the 49ers, they get their stars back sooner rather than later.
