While the rest of the NBA is getting ready for the upcoming playoffs, it seems like Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson is busy with other things. The 27-year-old Canadian player is currently under fire for cheating on his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, the reality star from the hit television show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
The couple is expecting their first child together anytime now, but it appears that Thompson isn’t quite ready to be a father-figure just yet.
A video released by the Daily Mail has gone viral showing Thompson hanging out at the PH-D Lounge in Manhattan on Saturday. He was getting all cozy with a brunette and was seen later appearing to lean in for a kiss. The Cavaliers played against the New York Knicks two nights later on Monday.
Thanks to the expert sleuthing of netizens, we now have a name for Thompson’s mystery girlfriend: Lani Blair.
So, who is this woman who lured Thompson away from the pregnant Kardashian? Here are five things you need to know about her.
5. She is an Instagram model
Blair is reportedly a model based on the photos on her Instagram profile where she is seen doing photo shoots aside from the overwhelming number of selfies. Her number of followers increased dramatically after the video with Thompson was released. She has already set it to private since them.
She currently has 363,000 followers. However, netizens were able to grab photos quickly from her account before she set it to private.

Interestingly, Knicks star center Kristaps Porzingis was linked to another Instagram model by the name of Jen Selter. Unfortunately, things may not have worked out between the two, as Selter is rumored to be eyeing New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge these days.

4. She is also a bartender at a strip club
Thompson’s mystery girl is also a bartender at Starlet’s Gentlemen’s Club in Queens. According to the site’s website, the club is one of the most luxurious places in New York City.

Perhaps this is where Thompson and Blair met one time and the two hit it off so well that they decided to hang out a bit longer.

Multiple reports from modeling profile sites show that Blair is 28 years old and was born on June 6, 1989. She is a little younger than Kardashian, who is 33, and a little older than Thompson’s first baby mama, Jordan Craig, who is 26. Thompson and Craig were dating at the time when the TV star came along.
Kardashian was accused of stealing Thompson from Craig, who was also pregnant at that time. Some fans are telling Kardashian that karma is coming back to get her for what she did to Craig.

The woman who filmed the two said, “I was there and he was on the table right next to us with a group of friends and some girl who he was obviously making out with all night.” But Thompson and Blair’s cozy outing at the bar didn’t end there. They were seen leaving the rooftop bar together before being photographed entering Thompson’s hotel.
As a player for the Cavs with LeBron James, Thompson is too famous of a basketball player to be thinking that he can still walk in and out of a bar anonymously without people filming or photographing his every move. The fact that he’s dating a big TV star makes him even more recognizable, regardless of where he turns up during his free time.
1. She was seen leaving the hotel with the Cavs star
According to Page Six, the two went back to the hotel where the Cavaliers were staying on Sunday morning. In the video caption released by The Shade Room (TSR), it is said that the two were at the hotel for four hours before going out again to another party at Soho House, a private club.
They went back to the hotel at 5:00 am, where he was spotted holding the door for her. TSR also released photos of Blair and Thompson before and after their not-so-secret escapade. The model was seen leaving the Cavs’ hotel on Monday around 8:00 pm, carrying an overnight Louis Vuitton bag.

Not long after these photos and videos were released, TMZ published a surveillance video from October 7, 2017 where Thompson was shown at a hookah lounge getting too close for comfort with two women.
It seems like the Cavs center has dug himself a hole that’s too deep to get out of. Kardashian is reportedly staying in Cleveland where she is waiting to give birth anytime soon. Both camps have not released any statement yet.
With the playoffs are just around the corner, it remains to be seen whether Thompson’s action will become a distraction for the team, or if this is something that they will completely ignore the moment practices resume.
