For the majority of this season, the Las Vegas Aces have been the best team in the WNBA. They still hold the best record in the league at 30-6, but they haven't been playing as sharp as of late. Part of it may be fatigue, part of it may be the doldrums of the regular season, but they are only 1 1/2 games ahead of the New York Liberty for the top spot in the WNBA standings with only a handful of games remaining.

They are missing a big piece of the their team, however. Candace Parker has not played for the Aces since before the All-Star break as she is recovering from a foot injury. There is currently no timetable for her return to the court as per Nekias Duncan of WNBA.com.

As per Duncan, Aces head coach Becky Hammon revealed that Candace Parker is still using a boot or some sort of walking apparatus while recovering from her foot injury. She underwent surgery back during the All-Star break after playing on the injury for a majority of the season. Parker was the Aces' prized offseason free-agent signing.

Parker is already one of the greatest players to ever play the game and is without a doubt a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer when she retires. She has won two championships, one with the Los Angeles Sparks and one with the Chicago Sky.

She's played in 18 games this season averaging 9.0 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals with splits of 46.5 percent shooting from the field, 33.3 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 89.3 percent shooting from the free-throw line.
