The AFC West has the Super Bowl champions in it, and the hope is next year it will be super competitive. The Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers all feel like they are teams that could make the playoffs.

The Chiefs are still the favorites, but the rest of the rankings are going to be decided after what each team does during the offseason. So what team will make the big move? Let's break down one bold prediction for each team.

Andy Reid Retires…Eric Bieniemy takes over as head coach

What better way to go out than on top? There hasn't been a lot of talk about Andy Reid deciding to step away, but he is 61 years old and now he has accomplished everything. He is a future Hall of Famer and it's time for him to go spend some time with his “trophy wife.

The Kansas City Chiefs have gotten lucky that Eric Bieniemy hasn't gotten a head coaching job, and every year more that Reid coaches is a chance they could lose him. Look for Reid to decide to hang up the whistle, and Bieniemy will take over the role with a long-term deal.

The Broncos pick up Garett Bolles fifth-year option…which will be a mistake

The Broncos have to decide if they want to pick up Garett Bolles' fifth-year option this offseason and they will make the mistake of doing it.

“We’ll wait,” Elway told Ryan O'Halloran of the Denver Post. “There’s no sense doing it early. We’re not going to do it until May. We’ll see when we get there where we are.”

John Elway doesn't like to give up on his first-round draft picks, which will mean the team picks it up. Bolles is still the starting left tackle, but he has been a big disappointment. He has had too many false start penalties and mental lapses in his first three years.

Chargers don't upgrade over Tyrod Taylor

All signs are pointing towards the Los Angeles Chargers not brining back Philip Rivers, and Tyrod Taylor was the backup last season. The Chargers are going to give Tyrod Taylor every chance to be the future of the team, and won't bring in any competition for him.

They will probably draft a quarterback in one of the later rounds, but that won't be any competition this season. If Taylor doesn't turn the ball over, maybe he can be the guy to help the Chargers make the playoffs.

Raiders trade for Odell Beckham Jr.

The Las Vegas Raiders know they need to make some splashes this offseason as they make the move to a new city. No matter who the quarterback is next season, they need playmakers outside, and Mike Mayock is going to pull the trigger and ship off some assets to get Odell Beckham Jr. from the Browns.

Beckham Jr. can be a big distraction, but there is no doubt about his talent on the field. He should be a great addition to an offense that needs playmakers.
