The Alabama Crimson Tide will unfortunately have to deal with the fallout of one of its fans being less than stellar with, well, life.

Basically, the narrative of Alabama being “from the south” and its fan base being far removed from the smartest group of humans on the planet, both took a huge push toward surrealism. That is thanks in large part to a fan taking a magical voyage through a team message board, allowing the human species to see how he doesn't know what states are in the union.

Did you read that? Like, closely? Because, oh my, it is a lot of wackiness.

“He seems like a smart kid,” the user writes before saying something so ridiculous you wonder if it is a joke. “… so I'm wandering how his transition to the states has been as far as communication goes?”

Oh, you caught that too, right? The person is “wandering” — as opposed to, you know, wondering — how a kid from Hawaii will do now that he has hit “the states.”

For those unaware, or Alabama fans reading this (I KID), Hawaii is one of the 50 states in this here wonderful country known as America. Barring some breaking news every reputable outlet missed, we think this message board user is a wee-bit off on his take.

For conspiracy theory lunatics, here is a video of the QB that message board user was concerned about:

If the Crimson Tide slip this season, I think we have a better understanding as to why. Not because of the players, but due to the players having to deal with their fans.
