The Stephen Curry-less Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night, 116-103. Andrew Wiggins went for 40 points on 14-24 shooting and 6-11 from 3. This was one of those Wiggins games that reminds us of the immense talent he has. Jordan Poole also played incredibly well, going for 25 points on 10-15 shooting, 3-6 from 3.

These performances propelled the Warriors past Ja Morant and the Grizzlies. Curry was out with a bruised tailbone after a scary fall on Wednesday against the Rockets.

Wiggins and Poole, now with the Warriors, are no strangers to March heroics. Andrew Wiggins was a star in his one year at Kansas and that's what lead him to becoming the number 1 pick. Jordan Poole was a starting 2-guard for one of John Beilein's best Michigan teams next to fellow NBA player Moritz Wagner. This Michigan squad made it all the way to the championship, where they fell to the Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson lead Villanova team.

It'll be interesting to see if the month of March continues to be the push these players need to perform at these levels with the Warriors.

Let's check in on Golden State: The Warriors are currently 22-20 with an even net rating.

Steph Curry has had another historic season to add to his resume, but the other Warriors surrounding him have fallen short consistently throughout the season.

If Steph Curry can't play, the Warriors will need these secondary players to step up. Friday night, it was Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins, but in the future, others will have to step up too.

The West is tight as it usually is and the Warriors have a clear desire to make the playoffs. Right now, they are 9th in the west, 3.5 games out of the 6th seed. The 6th seed is the golden seed in the NBA this year because that means avoiding the play-in tournament.

The Warriors will need contributions outside of Stephen Curry if they hope to clear the play-in threshold. The Western Conference is loaded at the top, with the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles teams being the foremost contenders for the NBA Finals. However, the lower half of the West is up for grabs and tightly bunched. The Dubs need whatever leverage they can get.
