The Chicago Bears are officially heading into a new era with Matt Eberflus as their head coach. With Matt Nagy and GM Ryan Pace both departing, wide receiver Allen Robinson made sure to send a parting shot on Monday morning via Twitter.

The Bears wideout has a right to be upset. He had the franchise tag in 2021, yet as you can see, his targets took a turn for the worse. In 2019, Robinson had 154 targets and 98 receptions. 2020? 151 targets and a career-high 102 catches. This past season? A measly 66 targets and only 38 catches for 410 yards and a lone score. It's pretty clear Nagy wasn't keen on using one of his bests WRs on a consistent basis. Pretty foolish.

Nagy is now a goner and a new HC is coming in. The Bears' passing offense was frankly in shambles with Nagy at the helm, and it's honestly surprising he even lasted the entire season after fans were basically calling for his head.

It will be interesting to see what Eberflus brings to the table. This will be his first head coaching job after previously serving as the defensive coordinator for four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. A change of scenery was needed for the Bears, so let's hope Eberflus is the right man to turn things around.

As for Robinson, there's a very good chance he'll get a fresh start elsewhere as he hits unrestricted free agency. If he returns to Chicago, one can bet there will be a more concerted effort to get Robinson the ball and build a better relationship with Justin Fields.
