Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky made his coach Matt Nagy proud, but it's probably not for what you think.

Over the weekend Trubisky took in a Chicago White Sox game on the South side of Chicago, and a camera caught him chugging a beer along with Kyle Long.

This was after fellow NFC North quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford were both seen chugging beers. Nagy was asked about his quarterback's performance, and he was left impressed by the execution.

“You talking about chugging a beer?” Nagy jokingly asked when questioned if he broke down film of the Bears in the luxury suite via 247 Sports. “Mitch is pretty good at it. Kyle [Long] is even better. That was impressive. Mitch did a good job. Obviously, he's at the age where he can do that—not to promote it—but I was proud of him. He aced the test.”

Trubisky also threw out the first pitch before the game and fans seemed excited about the Bears quarterback. Many of the teammates spent the afternoon playing at Top Golf before heading over to the stadium to take in the game.

This is exactly the type of culture that Nagy has helped develop with the Bears the last two years. Nagy was asked if he could beat Trubisky in a beer chugging contest and he said it depends on what the beer was.

“I plead the fifth,” Nagy joked. “I do like Stella, though. Maybe Stella.”

Hopefully, Nagy will be as impressed with Trubisky's play on the field this season as he is with his beer-chugging off of it.
