On Tuesday night, the Brooklyn Nets host the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first of six NBA Play-In games. There are essentially two rounds in this mini-tournament. The winner of this game will travel to Boston to face off against the Boston Celtics as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the loser of tonight's game will play the winner of the other eastern conference play-in game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Atlanta Hawks. So, neither the Nets or the Cavs can be eliminated with a loss tonight, but a win guarantees a spot in the playoffs. Clearly, this is a massive game. Therefore, you can expect everyone's best shot.

With a game of this magnitude, there is certainly some opportunity to make some money. Let's break down some of the best same-game parlay bets to place for the Nets Cavs play-in game.

3 Best Same-Game Parlay Bets for Nets vs Cavs

1. Kevin Durant over 32.5 points (-106) / Darius Garland over 25.5 points (-108)

Everyone is well aware that Durant can drop 40 plus just about any night. An over/under of 32.5 is pretty steep, but as I remarked earlier, this is a huge game. You can expect a big game from KD Tuesday night. The fact that his odds on 30 or more points is listed at -210 tells me that Las Vegas thinks it's at least twice as likely than not that Durant scores 30-plus.

If you are telling me he's twice as likely to go over 30, I am inclined to believe it's much more probable that he goes over 32 as well.

Garland is the key to this bet. Without Jarrett Allen in the lineup, the Cavs are going to have a difficult time slowing down the Nets offense. They are going to have to score to keep up. Garland is by far the best and most explosive option on the board for Cleveland. I think he finishes close to 30, helping you cash this same-game parlay.

With this parlay, if you bet $100, you will win $311. You are getting better than three-to-one that those two players go over in a game like this, sign me up.

2. Nets Moneyline (-460) / Kevin Durant over 2.5 Three's (113)

This first part of this bet is quite obvious. If you are betting the Brooklyn Nets on just the money line, you are laying -460 odds. Ok, so Las Vegas is not giving the Cavs much of a shot. That should be an easy part of the parlay.

If the Nets are going to win, and score at will as I believe they will, it's likely that Durant also hits more than two 3's. As I referenced above, I expect KD to go over his 32 points. If I am right, it is very likely he knocks down more than the couple triples to get there.

A $100 bet nets you $123. That ain't bad considering one of the two sides of the parlay is essentially a lock.

3. Darius Garland 1st Qtr over 5.5 points (-115) / Nets win by 1-10 points (+175)

As I touched on earlier, Garland is going to need to play well in this game for the Cavs to have any chance against the Nets. I believe he will, and it will start early. His game projection is 25.5 points, yet his over/under for the first quarter is only 5.5? I think he scores between six and nine points in the opening quarter.

The second leg in this parlay seems like a risk. Many people feel the Nets are going to run the Cavs out of the building. Cleveland does not have their best defensive player in Allen. The Nets are playing very well coming in and are at home. All signs on the surface point to Brooklyn cruising.

But an interesting tid bit I came across was how bad the Nets are at covering the spread at home. Brooklyn is an NBA worst 10-30 covering the line in home games. That's a full six games worse than any other team in the NBA. The spread is 8.5 in most places.

Knowing how bad the Nets are covering the spread in Brooklyn, as well as the fight that the Cavs have shown all season, I think this will finish in single digits.

A $100 bet will earn you a whopping $389. That's some great value.
