The Philadelphia Phillies host their last game before traveling to London as they face the Milwaukee Brewers. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Brewers-Phillies prediction and pick.
In game one of the series, it would be the Phillies who would come out on top. Edmundo Sosa would drive in the first run of the game, and the Phillies would add a second as David Dahl scored in the inning as well. Dahl would add a home under in the fourth to make it 3-0. Former Phllie Rhy Hoskins homered in the seventh to make it 3-1, but it would not be enough as the Phillies would win 3-1. The Phillies will play the Brewers in game two on Tuesday night. Jared Koenig will be on the mound for the Brewers in game two of the series. He is 5-1 with a 2.05 ERA and a 1.06 WHIp. Christopher Sanchez will be going for the Phillies. Sanchez is 3-3 with a 2.83 ERA.

Why The Brewers Will Cover The Spread/Win

Contreras has also stolen four bases and scored 48 times this year. Stealing bases has been a specialty of Brice Turang. He has stolen 20 of them this year. Turang is hitting .298 on the top ear with a .364 on-base percentage. He has 12 doubles and three home runs, leading to 21 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
Sitting second on the team in RBIs and leading the team in home runs has been Willy Adames. He comes in hitting .255 this year with a .333 on-base percentage. Adames has 17 doubles and nine home runs, helping him with 42 RBIs. Further, he has stolen eight bases and scored 33 times. Rounding out the top bats is Rhys Hoskins. Hoskins is hitting .243 on the year with ten home runs and 28 RBIs. He has also scored 18 times and played in just 41 of 60 games.

The Phillies are first in the majors in runs scored, while sitting sixth in batting average, fourth in on-base percentage, and sixth in slugging. Alec Bohm continues to be impressive. He is hitting .298 on the year with a .353 on-base percentage. Bohm has 23 doubles, a triple, and fifth home runs. This has led to 49 RBIs. Bohm has also scored 28 times this year. Driving in runs is something Bryce Harper has done well this year. He is hitting .271 on the year with a .376 on-base percentage. Harper has ten doubles and 14 home runs this year, leading to his 44 RBIs. He also has scored 35 times.
Meanwhile, Kyle Schwarber and Bryson Stott are also playing great this year. Schwarber is hitting .234. He is getting on base at a .357 rate, with 11 home runs. Both offensive units are wonderful, but the Phillies will be able to counter that in this one. They send Aaron Nola to the mound, and while he has given up four home runs in the last three starts, they have been for limited damage. The four home runs have resulted in just five runs scored, and only four earned. If Nola can continue that trend, the Phillies will get a win in this one.
