Also driving in runs well is Bryce Harper. Harper is hitting .254 on the year with a .378 on-base percentage. He has five doubles and nine home runs, good for 28 RBIs. He has also scored 20 runs.

Kyle Schwarber leads the team in runs scored and tied for the lead in home runs this year. He is hitting .211 on the year with a .318 on-base percentage. He has nine home runs this year with 23 RBIs. Further, he has scored 30 times. Trea Turner has not driven in a lot of runs but is making an impact. He has ten doubles, and two home runs, good for nine RBIs. He has hit .343 though with a .392 on-base percentage. Further, he has stolen ten bases and scored 27 times.

The Phillies team ERA is fourth in the majors, while they sit sixth in team WHIP and eighth in opponent batting average. Taijuan Walker will be on the mound in this one. He is 2-0 on the year with a 6.39 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. He has made just two starts this year. In the first one, he allowed six runs in 6.1 innings of work but took the win. In the second one, he allowed three runs in 6.1 innings.

Why The Marlins Will Cover The Spread/Win

The Marlins are 24th in the majors in runs scored, while sitting 24th in batting average, 29th in on-base percentage, and 27th in slugging. Bryan De La Cruz has led the team this year. He is hitting .269 on the year with a .315 on-base percentage. He had eight doubles and eight home runs. This is good for 21 RBIs and 22 runs scored. The 22 runs are tied for the most on the team this year, but the leader is Luis Arraez. Arrez has been traded though. Still, De La Cruz is joined by Jazz Chisholm who has been solid this year. He is hitting .236 with a .314 on-base percentage. He has six doubles, a triple, and five home runs. That has led to 20 RBIs. Chisholm also has eight stolen bases and 17 runs scored this year.

Nick Gordon has been solid in the last week. He is hitting .316 in the last six games while getting on base at a .350 on-base percentage. He has a double and two home runs in the last week. This has led to four RBIs and four runs scored in just six games. Meanwhile, Vial Brujan has hit .286 in the last week while driving in three runs.

The Marlins are 29th in team ERA, 28th in wHIP, and 25th in opponent batting average.  The Marlins have not named a starter for the game year.

Final Phillies-Marlins Prediction & Pick

Regardless of who the Marlins send to the mound in this one, the Phillies will have the better pitching going in this one. Further, Philly's offense has been one of the best in the MLB this year. They are scoring well, and slugging great. With how bad the Marlin's pitching has been, the Phillies should be able to take advantage. Even if Walker is not at his best overall, the Phillies have already found ways to win. He is 2-0 but has given up nine runs in 12.2 innings. Take the Phillies to Cover in this one.
