Cole Beasley was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list by the Buffalo Bills on Friday. While he didn't test positive himself, he was in a close contact scenario and had to stay away from the team facility for a bit.

Now, the Bills have their slot receiver back as they get set for the regular season opener in a couple of weeks.

Beasley's activation comes on the heels of fellow wideout Isaiah McKenzie being suspended for not wearing a mask at the team facility while remaining unvaccinated.

While Beasley said earlier this offseason at Bills training camp that he wouldn't be taking questions or addressing his vaccine status anymore, he went in on the NFL after McKenzie was fined.

“Don’t worry they got me too. But I was wearing a mask when I was in close contact with fully vaxxed trainer who tested positive and still got sent home. So what’s the point of the mask anyways? Meanwhile I’m here still testing negative and can’t come back. Make it make sense.”

Beasley clearly isn't a fan of wearing masks or some of the guidelines the NFL has in place to try and prevent breakouts. While there's no perfect solution to the matter, the league is trying to find the right mix-and-match answers so that outbreaks don't occur like the Tennessee Titans had on Thursday.

On the field, Beasley will be a critical part to the operation for the Bills as their go-to slot wideout. He and Josh Allen were a vibe last year and they expect those good vibes to continue into the 2021 season as Buffalo looks to compete for a Super Bowl.
