Jamal Adams and Jalen Ramsey offered what seemed to be words of criticism when the Buffalo Bills drafted Josh Allen with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Now, though, Allen is proving his doubters wrong.

In two matchups against Adams' Seattle Seahawks and Ramsey's Los Angeles Rams this season, Allen converted 55 of his 69 passes for 726 yards, racking up eight total touchdowns to just interception along the way. Notably, the Bills won both games.

Here are the stats for both games:

Allen was in his bag on Sunday, delivering a huge game and outdueling Russell Wilson for a 44-34 victory. Not only did he throw three touchdowns, the 415 passing yards Allen recorded tied his career-high mark. All of this came just after his grandmother, Patricia Allen, passed away unexpectedly in California at the age of 80. Allen said he still wanted to play, and the team agreed.

It was an impressive showing:

“It was a big win and a great thing for him to play like he played, just a mentally tough young man,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said, via rochesterfirst.com.

With Sunday's win over Seattle, the Bills improved to 7-2. The last time Buffalo started a season with a 7-2 record was 1993, when Jim Kelly helped lead the team to its fourth straight Super Bowl appearance. Where were you in those days? Were you born yet?

Allen and the Bills will look to keep their momentum rolling on Nov. 15, when they'll travel to Arizona for a matchup against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals.
