Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is excited about the team's backfield, even with LeSean McCoy on a new team. Daboll told the media on Thursday that TJ Yeldon could have a bigger role initially, but they have confidence in Frank Gore and Devin Singletary too.

He also said week to week it could change for who gets the most touches depending on who they play, and what the game plan is.

Going years forward, the hope is that Singletary will be the bell-cow for this team, and there has been nothing but praise for him since he came to the team.

Coach Sean McDermott said Singletary is a pro in a rookies body in terms of how he approaches playing in the league.

“Some of what he did in college, he’s been able to do at our level,” McDermott said via Bills Wire. “Look, it’s early. Limited sample. The thing I love the most is he’s very conscientious day-to-day, he’s a pro in a rookie’s body just in terms of his approach to the game, his daily approach to what we do, how we do things.”

“He’s accountable. He’s on time. Just some of the intangibles that have stood out to me off the field in just a short amount of time.”

During his time at FAU, Singeltary rushed for 4,200 in the three years, and if he can build on that in the NFL, the Bills should have their star running back for a very long time. For now, look for it to be a running back by committee approach.
