The Buffalo Bills have a couple of banged-up wide receivers heading into their Wild Card matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.

Star wideout Stefon Diggs and slot receiver Cole Beasley both popped up on the injury report Thursday. Both Diggs (oblique) and Beasley (knee) are listed as questionable, though they each practiced in a limited fashion after missing reps on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Despite being listed as questionable, the fact Diggs and Beasley were limited Thursday at least seems to suggest they are trending towards playing. It is unlikely, however, they will be at 100 percent for Saturday afternoon, which could be problematic for the Bills.

Buffalo would figure to throw the ball quite often against Indy. The Colts ranked second in both rushing yards allowed and yards per carry during the regular season but were just 20th in passing yards allowed. Diggs and Beasley excel at creating separation, which will prove vital against a tough Colts front seven hoping to apply pressure on Josh Allen. But it could be more challenging for the two receivers to create that separation if they are feeling off physically.

Then again, Diggs and Beasley are as dependable as they come as it pertains to making the catch. Diggs led the NFL with 127 receptions and can go get just about any jump ball in his area code. Beasley, meanwhile, had just two drops and a career-high 76.6 catch percentage.

Buffalo desperately needs both Diggs and Beasley on the field Saturday. Just how hard they can go and how effective they can be will have to be major determinants on the outcome of the game.
