Bryson DeChambeau might not be a household name for PGA Tour casuals, but after some BMW Championship challenge fun, he’s turning some heads.

In the BMW Challenge Match Play Event, Bryson DeChambeau partnered with Kevin Na as they went up against newly-crowned PGA champion Collin Morikawa and Max Homa. What happened next was a 444 yard bomb by Bryson.

Because I’m not a sadist, here’s the video proof:

It’s been an otherwise interesting week for Bryson DeChambeau at the PGA Tour event. Back in 2015, when he actually won the event, there was apparently an issue with his tee time, something he took to BMW Championship officials with.

“I just sprinted and said, ‘Guys, I’m telling you, this is not correct. ‘They must have been going, ‘What is Bryson doing?’ So I came back and showed him the piece of paper, and he goes, ‘Well, that’s interesting.’ So that’s when he took the piece of paper to the committee, and they told me that they’d be out in a little bit. It was an hour later. They came up with a conclusion that I was fine,” DeChambeau told reporters at the time.

Nonetheless, it worked out for him in 2015. Only time will tell how Bryson DeChambeau does during this specific BMW Championship going, as well as future PGA Tour events as a whole.
