Saget reportedly passed away at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida Sunday afternoon. The fire department and police followed up a call and found him dead inside his hotel room. Saget, the stand-up comic and television legend, was in the middle of a stand-up tour that included Orlando.
He performed Saturday night in Jacksonville, Florida and even posted on social media about the show afterward.
Saget came to prominence for his role as the All-American dad in “Full House.” He played the role of Danny Tanner, the father of Candace Cemeron. The ABC hit sitcom also featured John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, and of course Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Despite the fatherly persona, Saget was considered one of the raunchiest comics in the industry.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not been released. The comedic legend was 65 years old.
