Boxing has been on a roller coaster for quite some time now. However, Canelo Alvarez continues to push the limits of what it takes to be a superstar, world-champion boxer. Since Floyd Mayweather's retirement and Manny Pacquiao's switch to a political career in the Philippines, Alvarez is holding the torch for the entire sport of boxing.
He's already fought twice this year, however, Alvarez eyes his third bout in 2021. According to Chris Mannix, Alveraz plans to take on another opponent in the ring in November. It's currently unknown who his opponent will be, but it will surely be a spectacular event nonetheless.

Alvarez has been a top fighter in boxing for years. Holding a professional record of 56-1-2, it's easy to see why Alvarez remains at the top of the fighting world. His only loss has come from boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, which ended in a majority decision victory for Mayweather back in 2014. Since then, Alvarez has been on a 15-fight win streak over the course of eight years.
He continues to be one of the most active boxers in the world, as it feels like Canelo Alvarez fights someone every six months. It's incredibly impressive how he's been able to maintain this pace while remaining at the top of the rankings throughout his career. Canel Alvarez is undoubtedly one of the best boxers in the world right now. He has nothing to prove anymore as he has accomplished nearly everything he has set his mind to. Alvarez seems to be on a path to separate himself from his peers. Even so, Alvarez is only 31 years old and likely still has plenty left in the tank.
