It's been a whirlwind for Ryan Garcia over the last couple of months leading up to his megafight with Devin Haney and all of the aftermath that came with his upset victory. Garcia came in three pounds heavier into his fight with Haney which already gave him scrutiny within the boxing community but then it came out two weeks after his victory that his drug tests came back positive for the steroid Ostarine which is on the banned substance list in two separate tests, one a day before the fight and one on fight day.

After reports came out that Garcia tested positive, Garcia ordered a B sample to prove his innocence. Unfortunately for Garcia, his B sample came back POSITIVE for Ostarine yet again.

Now that the news has been put out there in pure Ryan Garcia fashion, he took to X to go on his normal NSFW rant about his positive test results in these since-deleted tweets:

This puts Ryan Garcia in a rough place in his boxing career. Once a rising star in boxing has had a fall from grace since taking his first professional loss to Gervonta Davis. A lot has not only happened to Garcia personally but professionally as well. It's going to be interesting to see what the ramifications will be after this potisive test results. Garcia will now have to have a hearing with the commission to see what his punishment will be.

There is a good chance that Ryan's win over Devin Haney will be overturned to a No Contest, he will be fined and also may be suspended from boxing as well. Haney on the other hand could potentially be undefeated once again but many believe he will have an asterisk after that 0 on his record. Nonetheless, Garcia's boxing career is certainly up in the air moving forward and we will see how it plays out in the coming months.
