After a 3-0 start to the season, the Denver Broncos have lost four straight games to drop below .500. The offense has looked miserable, scoring less than 20 points in three of the last four games.

Broncos starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, via Troy Renck of Denver7 KMGH, says it's almost time to panic.

“It’s definitely a locker room that’s still together,” Bridgewater said. “And you can sense, there’s no panic — I said this to the guys yesterday, I’m like, man we’ve got to have a sense of urgency. It’s not time to panic, but it almost is because this thing can go in the wrong direction fast.”

It's not exactly a vote of confidence that Bridgewater believes it's almost time to panic. In the midst of a four game losing streak with little signs of the offense improving, the Broncos will hope that getting Jerry Jeudy back will be a huge spark that they need.

Bridgewater furthered his thoughts by throwing in that the Broncos are nearing the halfway point when you factor in the preseason games, which nobody does.

“We’re sitting at 3-4. I think you look at it, we’ve played 10 games — three preseason games, seven regular-season games. We’re right at the halfway point and we’re not in a bad position. We’d like to be in a better position, but that’s on us. So all we can do is control what’s in front of us.”

The Broncos will need answers fast if they plan on competing for a postseason spot this year.
