Odell Beckham Jr.'s falling out with the Cleveland Browns and quarterback Baker Mayfield led to Beckham's release just after the trade deadline. Cleveland sent two draft picks and young safety Jabrill Peppers to acquire Beckham in 2019, but he and Mayfield could never get on the same page.

Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who is caught in the middle of this debacle, voiced his thoughts on the matter on Twitter. Landry, who spent three seasons with Beckham at LSU before they teamed up on the Browns in 2019, said that OBJ is one of the best teammates he has ever played with.

Amongst all the claims that Beckham is a locker room cancer, Landry, a teammate and friend of his, shows the opposite side of that argument. When Beckham was traded to Cleveland by the New York Giants, his teammates voiced support for him. Wide receiver Sterling Shepard said he was loved within the organization and running back Saquon Barkley referred to him as a big brother. Browns safety John Johnson said that most people in the Browns organization want Beckham to stay.

Beckham's perception won't do anything to change the situation, as the three-time Pro Bowler will be joining the third team of his career while the Browns move on. Seeing where Beckham ends up as well as how well the Browns do without him will be very interesting to see.
