Bryan Cranston announced on X (formerly Twitter) that his Showtime drama Your Honor will also stream on Netflix May 31.

He wrote, “If you haven’t seen this limited series, please do catch it. I’m very proud of it. We have a very terrific cast, and you’ll be on the edge of your sofa watching this story unfold.”

Your Honor, we’re going to be on Netflix, too.

Creator Peter Moffatt initially planned Your Honor to only have one season. The show, which has two seasons with 10 episodes each, follows New Orleans Judge Michael Desiato (Cranston), goes to great lengths to cover up a hit-and-run accident committed by his son Adam (Hunter Doohan). The biggest complication? The accident involved a member of a local organized crime family.

The first season was based on the Israeli series Kvodo, which was created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach. It had the most-watched premiere season in Showtime’s history with 6.6 million weekly viewers. It debuted in 2020. Even though it was originally conceived as a miniseries, it was renewed for a second and final season in 2021. Season two premiered in 2023.

The second season follows Assistant US Attorney Olivia Delmont (Rosie Perez), who lets Michael out of prison in exchange for his helping in catching the crime family.

Your Honor features two Academy Award nominees: Cranston and Perez. Cranston was nominated for best actor for 2015’s Trumbo. The show reunites him with Trumbo co-star Michael Stuhlbarg who plays Jimmy Baxter in the series. Perez earned her Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for 1993’s Fearless.
