The Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled new uniforms for the 2020 season on Tuesday, and Pro Bowl wide receiver Chris Godwin shared an image of himself rocking his new No. 14 jersey, via Bucs Wire.

Godwin used to wear No. 12 but obviously had to part ways with the number when the Buccaneers finalized a deal to bring Tom Brady to South Florida. He repeatedly insisted he wanted a number in the teens rather than the 80s, and “14” is the result.

Of course, Godwin is unlikely to hold a grudge, given he will be on the receiving end of passes from one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

Brady's decision to join the Bucs seemingly went against the grain, considering all the success he had in New England paired with the fact the Bucs have not made the playoffs since 2007. However, Godwin and the rest of the guys in the skill positions likely had a massive influence on Brady's final decision.

Godwin ranked third in the NFL in receiving yards (1,333), fourth in receiving touchdowns (nine) and second in receiving yards per game (95.2). He also had 577 yards after the catch and the most receptions of 20-plus yards in the NFL.

Of course, Mike Evans lines up opposite Godwin, and he is hardly a slouch in his own right, finishing fourth in receiving yards per game and hauling in eight touchdown receptions of his own.

Throw in talented tight ends like Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard, and Brady has a whole lot of dynamic pass-catchers around him.

For Godwin, the number might have changed, but the results could be even more explosive in 2020.
