Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians announced his retirement on Wednesday evening, shocking those who thought the Super Bowl-winning coach was sure to return now that Tom Brady is back in the fold. Arians will transition to a front office role while defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will pace the sidelines as the team's new head coach. There were plenty of reactions to Arians' retirement. General manager Jason Licht, who, along with Arians, helped lead the franchise to their second Super Bowl title, sent out an epic tweet in honor of the occasion.

Licht said that it was an honor “winning” and “boozing” with Arians in Tampa Bay. That's a pretty epic way to honor the former head coach. ‘

The Buccaneers general manager is referring to the massive Super Bowl celebration that ensued at the parade, complete with adult beverages. Licht and Arians celebrated in style, as evidenced by the photo.

They had every reason to, as the team constructed by the two spoiled the Kansas City Chiefs' bid for a repeat championship. Licht, who has been the team's general manager since the 2014 season, helped bring Arians aboard back in 2019.

The two clearly have a strong bond. “Winning” and “boozing” will do that.
