The NFL MVP race has tightened up in recent weeks, with NFL stars Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Jonathan Taylor all having compelling cases to take home the hardware. Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Richard Sherman, who has his own podcast, weighed in on who he thinks the NFL MVP should be. Sherman's teammate Brady won't like his pick.

That is quite an interesting pick for NFL MVP by Buccaneers star Richard Sherman. Sherman thinks that it's hard to argue against Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers- and not teammate Tom Brady- for the MVP award.

While Brady has a great case for the award, given how good he has been despite the Buccaneers' defensive struggles, Sherman does have a point about Rodgers. The Packers star has thrown for an awe-inspiring 16 touchdowns and zero interceptions over his last five contests while leading Green Bay to four straight wins.

Not only that, but Rodgers has done it while playing on an injured toe. As great as Brady has been for the Buccaneers- he leads the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes- Rodgers might just have a better case.

Of course, Brady won't care too much about the individual accolades, as long as he and the Buccaneers are in the mix for a Super Bowl title.

Plus, maybe Tom Brady will use Buccaneers teammate Richard Sherman's NFL MVP pick as fuel for another championship run. And maybe, if NFL fans are lucky, he and Aaron Rodgers will go head-to-head again along the way.
