The last time Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tom Brady made another milestone, he nearly lost the historic ball. On Sunday night, one man made sure that won't happen again.

Brady tallied his 700th touchdown pass in a very memorable fashion, as it sealed the Buccaneers' 33-27 win over the Buffalo Bills. To make sure the GOAT will take home the souvenir, the Buccaneers' equipment manager smartly picked up the ball quickly before it gets to the wrong hands.

Get that man a hefty raise (via Joe Bryant)!

To recall, Brady had to pay a fan to get back the ball after he tallied his 600th career TD last October. Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans carelessly gave the ball to the fan, which didn't really sit well with Brady. The seven-time Super Bowl champion had to strike a deal with the fan, which included a bitcoin, a $1,000 gift check to the Buccaneers team store, signed jerseys, a helmet, game cleats, and a bunch of tickets, just to get the memento.

But against the Bills, not gonna happen! Brady's new BFF hustled to retrieve the ball and keep it for its rightful owner. It was also wise for Buccaneers wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who caught the historic pass, not to mess with it.

Tom Brady also became the NFL's career leader in completions, once again proving that age is just a construct.

The Buccaneers improved to 10-3 and can clinch the NFC South title on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
